High blood pressure (hypertension)
High blood pressure is very common as we get older. If your blood pressure remains high over a long period of time then this can put you at a higher risk of heart disease and stroke. You may need some or all of these tests.

Palpitations
Everyone is aware of heart beats (palpitations) from time to time. Palpitations that last longer can be a sign that the heart has gone out of its normal rhythm. You may need these tests to reach a diagnosis

Chest pain
Pains in the chest are common and are often not serious. It is important to rule out heart pain (angina). To investigate chest pain you may require some of the following tests.

Treating angina
If it is likely or confirmed that you have angina, Dr Rosser specialises in performing angiography and angioplasty (inserting balloons and stents in the coronary arteries) to improve the blood supply to the heart

Breathlessness
Breathlessness can be caused by problems with the lungs, heart or physical fitness. It is important to rule out a heart cause because it can be treated and the symptoms improve. You may need these tests to investigate your breathlessness further
